If the mom-to-be has a large family, whomever is hosting may decide to rent a hall or church that has a large area for parties. That way, the mother-to-be can have a bigger guest list. In this instance, it may be better to have a cover dish arrangement with the guests, but this must be organized so that there are enough main dishes, side dishes, drinks and desserts to make a full meal. If the hostess has a bigger budget, she may choose to have it catered.

If you prefer what is now thought to be a very old-fashioned name, such as Gertrude or Elizabeth, remember that names have a way of coming back into style.
