Most people feel that the first baby should be the only baby shower that is given for the mom-to-be. However, there are exceptions to this "rule." For example, if the woman has had one or more children at one point in her life, and then sells or donates everything because she is “done” having kids, only to find out several years later she is going to have another baby and will need everything again.

There are many resources from which to choose a name including books, websites, and other sources. Another good idea is to watch the credits at the end of a movie and see if you can find a unique name that you like.

Some warning signs to look for when exercising during pregnancy are: bleeding from vagina, dizziness, headache, chest pains, leaking fluid from vagina and muscle weakness. If any of these signs are present, you should stop exercising and call your doctor.

If smells are the main cause of morning sickness, carry around a hankerchief with a non-offensive odor on it. Put it over your nose when smells become unbearable and you cannot get away from the area.
