This will give the mother time to heal and get settled into her new role. By this time she will want to show the baby off, and may have a better idea what she needs.

It means that your blood pressure is dropping rapidly which is sending your heart into overdrive. Make sure to keep drinking water to avoid this potentially dangerous situation.

If your morning sickness is unbearable, see your doctor. He may put you on vitamin B, which has been shown to help some women. If your morning sickness is severe and you cannot keep any food down, you may need to be given I.V. fluids which contain much needed vitamins and nutrients for you and the baby.
