Baby Names Plus Quick Tips
Baby Shower PlanningThe hostess should have the baby shower games ready in a certain area with the prizes so she can bring it all out together quickly. Games should be limited to 3-5, with each game lasting 5-15 minutes, and lasting no longer than 30 minutes total. Keep in mind: some games last much longer than others, so try to have a short game (5 minutes), a long game (15 minutes), a medium length game (10 minutes), and maybe another short game.
Baby NamingTry to avoid names that could be mispronounced or misspelled easily. There is nothing more frustrating to a kid than having to correct people, like his or her teacher, every time they say the name for the first time. Or having to say "no, that's spelled with an 'I' not a 'Y'" a thousand times! Plus, if you like to buy things with your child's name on them, you'll never be able to find anything with the correct spelling unless it's specially made for you.
Pregnancy ExerciseStaying hydrated is also very important whether you are exercising while pregnant or not. Blurred vision is a common sign of dehydration. It means that your blood pressure is dropping rapidly which is sending your heart into overdrive. Make sure to keep drinking water to avoid this potentially dangerous situation.
Morning SicknessRecent studies have suggested that mothers who have morning sickness also have less micarriages, but just because you are not "sick" doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. Only about 50-60% of women experience morning sickness.
