Baby Names Plus Quick Tips
Baby Shower PlanningThe most crucial pieces of information to include on a baby shower invitation: date, time, place (with directions from several points), who the shower is for, RSVP information (with a respond-by date), the sex of the baby (if known), and where the mother-to-be is registered for gifts. If there is special information pertaining to this particular shower, by all means, include that also.
Baby NamingTry to avoid names that could be mispronounced or misspelled easily. There is nothing more frustrating to a kid than having to correct people, like his or her teacher, every time they say the name for the first time. Or having to say "no, that's spelled with an 'I' not a 'Y'" a thousand times! Plus, if you like to buy things with your child's name on them, you'll never be able to find anything with the correct spelling unless it's specially made for you.
Pregnancy ExerciseWhen working out, if your body begins having sudden changes in temperature (cold flash), it means you are overextending your body, which could be harmful to the baby. Blood flowing to the uterus will be diverted to the skin to attempt to cool itself down, putting the baby in jeopardy.
Morning SicknessAlthough the term "morning sickness" suggests that the feeling only occurs in the morning, it can actually strike at any time of day. Many women say their nausea is the worst in the evening after dinner, since the digestive system has slowed down considerably in order for the body to absorb all the nutrients possible.
