Baby Names Plus Quick Tips
Baby Shower PlanningIf you or the mother-to-be is superstitious and believes that no gifts should be bought until the baby is born (some religions believe this as well), you may want to have the baby shower about a month after the baby is born. This will give the mother time to heal and get settled into her new role. By this time she will want to show the baby off, and may have a better idea what she needs.
Baby NamingTry to avoid names that could be mispronounced or misspelled easily. There is nothing more frustrating to a kid than having to correct people, like his or her teacher, every time they say the name for the first time. Or having to say "no, that's spelled with an 'I' not a 'Y'" a thousand times! Plus, if you like to buy things with your child's name on them, you'll never be able to find anything with the correct spelling unless it's specially made for you.
Pregnancy ExerciseYour heart rate should never increase beyond 140 beats per minute while exercising, especially while pregnant. If you are sweating profusely or you cannot talk while working out, you are exercising too hard.
Morning SicknessRelieve your smell-related sickness when eating or cooking by turning on the exhaust fan or opening a window to keep the smells to a minimum.
