Baby Shower Planning

A good time for the baby shower to be held is in the 7th to 8th month. At this point, the woman knows the sex of the baby (if she chooses) and though she is clearly showing, she is not completely miserable yet! If you wait until the 9th month, it may be too late if she delivers early, or she may be so uncomfortable that she is hardly in the mood for a party!

Baby Naming

Try to avoid names that could be mispronounced or misspelled easily. There is nothing more frustrating to a kid than having to correct people, like his or her teacher, every time they say the name for the first time. Or having to say "no, that's spelled with an 'I' not a 'Y'" a thousand times! Plus, if you like to buy things with your child's name on them, you'll never be able to find anything with the correct spelling unless it's specially made for you.

Pregnancy Exercise

If you have heart or lung disease or hypertention, it is not advisable to exercise while you are pregnant. In addition, if you are pregnant and have placenta previa, multiple fetuses, preterm labor, incompetant cervix, bleeding, or other problems/conditions related to your pregnancy you should not exercise.

Morning Sickness

Pre-natal vitamins that contain iron are harder on the stomach. Ask your doctor if you can try vitamins without the extra iron in them, unless you are anemic.
