Baby Shower Planning

If you are thinking about inviting men, there are some really fun shower games for them. Make sure to include these activities, as well as co-ed prizes, so that they feel as much a part of the fun as the women! (Men aren't especially fond of perfume or peach lotion). A family get-together type celebration may also create a more relaxed setting for men to enjoy.

Baby Naming

Watch out for cute and cuddly names that may seem very appropriate for a baby, but may not be so great later in life. Cozy or Bubby would be tough names to put at the top of a CEO staff memo!

Pregnancy Exercise

When working out, if your body begins having sudden changes in temperature (cold flash), it means you are overextending your body, which could be harmful to the baby. Blood flowing to the uterus will be diverted to the skin to attempt to cool itself down, putting the baby in jeopardy.

Morning Sickness

If your morning sickness is unbearable, see your doctor. He may put you on vitamin B, which has been shown to help some women. If your morning sickness is severe and you cannot keep any food down, you may need to be given I.V. fluids which contain much needed vitamins and nutrients for you and the baby.
