A good time for the baby shower to be held is in the 7th to 8th month. At this point, the woman knows the sex of the baby (if she chooses) and though she is clearly showing, she is not completely miserable yet! If you wait until the 9th month, it may be too late if she delivers early, or she may be so uncomfortable that she is hardly in the mood for a party!

Many women have decided to scrap the idea of taking it easy while pregnant. According to doctors, it is much easier to get back to your pre-pregnant self if you exercise and eat healthy during your nine (ten) months of pregnancy.

If your morning sickness is unbearable, see your doctor. He may put you on vitamin B, which has been shown to help some women. If your morning sickness is severe and you cannot keep any food down, you may need to be given I.V. fluids which contain much needed vitamins and nutrients for you and the baby.
