Baby Shower Planning

Many women end up having a couple of showers, especially for the first baby. Her family may throw a shower and invite only family members, and then her co-workers may want to throw one as well. The mother-to-be may find that her husband or significant other is surprised with a shower or gifts by people with whom he works as well. It all depends on the size of the families involved and the extent of your list of friends and co-workers.

Baby Naming

Instead of naming your son after his father or your daughter after her mother, try using the opposite name for the opposite sex. Victor and Nikki would name their children Victoria and Nicholas (For you Young and the Restless fans!)

Pregnancy Exercise

Some warning signs to look for when exercising during pregnancy are: bleeding from vagina, dizziness, headache, chest pains, leaking fluid from vagina and muscle weakness. If any of these signs are present, you should stop exercising and call your doctor.

Morning Sickness

Pepermint tea and Ginger Ale have been known to ease morning sickness. Pouring cola over ice and drinking a small amount may also help.
