Baby Shower Planning

Most people feel that the first baby should be the only baby shower that is given for the mom-to-be. However, there are exceptions to this "rule." For example, if the woman has had one or more children at one point in her life, and then sells or donates everything because she is “done” having kids, only to find out several years later she is going to have another baby and will need everything again.

Baby Naming

Try to avoid names that could be mispronounced or misspelled easily. There is nothing more frustrating to a kid than having to correct people, like his or her teacher, every time they say the name for the first time. Or having to say "no, that's spelled with an 'I' not a 'Y'" a thousand times! Plus, if you like to buy things with your child's name on them, you'll never be able to find anything with the correct spelling unless it's specially made for you.

Pregnancy Exercise

Many women still feel more comfortable with taking it easy when they are pregnant. This is fine, as long as she watches what she eats. Although many woman say it helps them feel stronger and healthier to exercise while pregnant, noone should feel bad about relaxing and putting their feet up, especially if your doctor says you should not exercise.
