Baby Shower Planning

Many stores where the mother registers are now giving out blank baby shower invitations. Or, the hostess can spend a little more and have the cards professionally made, such as is done for a wedding. Generally, though, the kind found in stores are perfectly acceptable and very cute! Or you or your hostess could make your own invitations.

Baby Naming

If you are expecting twins, it might not be a good idea to go with ryming or similar names. Although Tim and Jim are great on their own, it doesn't give a twin much of an identity break from the already many similarities between them.

Pregnancy Exercise

Dizziness during or after your pregnancy workout that is persistant or accompanied by blurred vision and/or headaches may be a sign of anemia or other serious illness. Cool down and advise your doctor or midwife.

Morning Sickness

Recent studies have suggested that mothers who have morning sickness also have less micarriages, but just because you are not "sick" doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. Only about 50-60% of women experience morning sickness.
