Baby Shower Planning

If you are the person organizing a baby shower at work, co-workers should be invited via email and the shower should be kept simple. Chips, cake, and finger food can be served and decorations should be simple and easy to clean up, such as balloons and streamers.

Baby Naming

Watch out for cute and cuddly names that may seem very appropriate for a baby, but may not be so great later in life. Cozy or Bubby would be tough names to put at the top of a CEO staff memo!

Pregnancy Exercise

Dizziness during or after your pregnancy workout that is persistant or accompanied by blurred vision and/or headaches may be a sign of anemia or other serious illness. Cool down and advise your doctor or midwife.

Morning Sickness

If your morning sickness is unbearable, see your doctor. He may put you on vitamin B, which has been shown to help some women. If your morning sickness is severe and you cannot keep any food down, you may need to be given I.V. fluids which contain much needed vitamins and nutrients for you and the baby.
