Baby Shower Planning

A good time for the baby shower to be held is in the 7th to 8th month. At this point, the woman knows the sex of the baby (if she chooses) and though she is clearly showing, she is not completely miserable yet! If you wait until the 9th month, it may be too late if she delivers early, or she may be so uncomfortable that she is hardly in the mood for a party!

While it may be exciting to present some of your favorite names to friends and family, they can be very opinionated! If they "hate" a name you have chosen as one of your favorites, it may cause resentment. You may end up choosing a different name instead based on their feelings, and then end up regretting it later in life.
